Detailed description

The platform aims at preparing learners to take part in more participative era, where discussion replaces one-way communications, education systems adapt their own organizations and their contents. Class courses tend to be based on more hybrid curricula where students can partly co-organize their schedules, actors (teachers and learners) have the opportunity to interact on-line. issues like cyberbullying, identity theft, spam, e-mail overload, inappropriate exposure of personal data, copyright violation...).

This is a two years (2012 - 2014) effort including:

- Yearly, dedicated eportfolio learning courses presented at an average of 40 students per year (http://www.hesge.ch/heg/sites/default/files/formation-base/IG/plan-modulaire/modif-printemps-2014/646-2-identite-numerique.pdf)

- Video resources are also available, covering a wide range of themes (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCF-YnMQfIL7vQde4QDxbvPg)

- Concrete examples of students eportfolios (http://www.envalais.ch/agva16/exemples-eportfolios)

- Peer to peer evaluation and auto-evaluation activities based on the ePortoflio guide (http://www.ageneve.net/v15/wp-content/uploads/guide_eportfolio_v03.pdf)

The evaluation indicators include number of article present, positioning and presentation of articles in the platform, title, message selection and communication, image and text design, orthography and syntax, vocabulary used, number of links, competence description with examples and variety of articles, linking with socio-professional networks etc. Based on these indicators all actors have a clear view on points allocated by peers, as well as, the final result.

More specifically, ageneve.net is about collaborative and learn to learning competences on:

- helping learners mature their relationship with digital media,

- defining a common syllabus of core "digital fluency" competences, not seen as IT-related but as transversal subjects;

- training teachers of all subjects to these emerging recognized competences so that they don't produce disincentive behaviors;
